Is there a better way to spend your Monday than photographing a baby as gorgeous as Rocco?Read More
One of the really special things about my job is when I get to take newborn portraits for my family.
Baby Hollie is my first cousin once removed (that means she’s my cousin's baby for those of you looking confused right now!)Read More
I love it when people bring things from home to include in their newborn portraits. Callie’s mum bought a bunny, which was about the same size as her, a pink flower headband and a pink blanket.Read More
A few years ago I travelled to meet the most lovely family and their newborn baby Oliver at their house in Harpenden.
In the blink of an eye, Oliver is now 3 and this time I got the pleasure of photographing his new little sister, Eva.Read More
For Arthur’s Newborn Photo Shoot, I travelled to his house in Buckinghamshire.
His mum wanted a combination of both posed and lifestyle photos and to include Arthur’s big brother Harry in some of the images.Read More
When Adhiya’s family booked her Newborn Photo Shoot they said that they would like awake photos that captured her personality.
Of course once they said that I was expecting the worlds sleepiest baby to turn up that I couldn’t keep awake, but she was in fact the perfect awake model that her mum and dad had been hoping for.Read More
I first met Kitty’s family back in 2015 when I did a Newborn Photo Shoot for her big sister Grace in St. Albans.
I’m getting so many siblings come through my door right now and I am always so excited to receive their emails letting me know they’re expecting baby number two or three.
When Kitty’s mum got in touch she was already a few days old so I booked her in nice and quick so we didn’t miss those first sleepy 5 - 10 days.Read More
If you’ve found your way here because you’re expecting twins - Congratulations!!

Newborn Elise came to my house in Hemel Hempstead for her Photo Shoot a few weeks ago and was the perfect little model.
She loved to be wrapped but wasn’t a fan of being on her tummy so I kept her where she was happiest, on her back and her side. Not all newborns like all positions and I never force them into a position that they aren’t happy with (I can tell by the wriggling!)Read More
I first met the lovely Montgomery family back in 2015 when they were expecting their first son, George. We've done Maternity, Newborn, Christmas, 6 month & 1 year shoots together and it's been really great getting to know them and watching little George grow up.
When they got in touch to let me know they were expecting baby number 2 I was very excited! We discussed everything they wanted from this next newborn shoot and counted down the days till her arrival.Read More
Logan's mum first got in touch about a month before her due date to book in her Newborn Photo Shoot. We discussed everything she liked and didn't like and booked her in for around a week after she was due.
Logan, it seems, had other plans though as he arrived almost 4 weeks early! He had to stay at Luton and Dunstable Hospital for around a month so we kept pushing his shoot date back until he was given the all clear and was able to go home.Read More
A common question I get asked is - What should I wear to my newborn photo shoot?
Firstly, if you're not having photos taken you can wear what ever you like! You are very much very welcome in your pyjamas if that's what makes you happy. If anyone has anything negative to say about that, point to your newborn baby and carry on.Read More
A few weeks ago I travelled to Spence's house in Hitchin for his Newborn Photo Shoot.
His mum had had a C-section and was unable to travel to me so I hopped in my car and went to them instead.
When I arrived, the house was nice and warm and ready for me to set up in their living room.
People always worry that their houses won't be big enough when I travel, but usually any living room space is fine. I may have to move a table or close a curtain but I'm pretty adaptable!Read More
Little Poppy came from Berkhamsted for her newborn shoot when she was 10 days old.
And when I say little, I really mean it. She was born at Luton & Dunstable Hospital at 35 weeks and weighed just 5.5lb.
She was the perfect little sleeper but my goodness did she like a good wriggle! I would get her into position, let her get comfy, and then we were good to go....until she decided it was time to wriggle again!Read More
When Noah and his family arrived, we started with some simple parent photos.
You do not have to hold a naked baby if you're not interested in playing 'pee roulette'. Instead we can use a nice neutral blanket (or colourful, it's your choice!) and wrap your little one up nice and snug.
Everyone meet Lylah. This gorgeous little thing was towards the older end of the timescale that I offer newborn photo shoots so she was on the wriggly side!
My main aim for her session was to get some beautiful images with her mum as well as some images in props.
Meet little Lachlan, the most gorgeous little boy with a genuinely lovely family.
When I first heard that the family wanted an Irish, Rugby, Autumn themed newborn baby photoshoot I've got to say, I wasn't quite sure how I was going to get it all to work together.
Of course the only real answer was to go shopping!
