Does travelling with a baby bring you out in a cold sweat?
Don’t panic! With just a little bit of extra preparation you can set yourself up for a stress free journey.Read More
One of the really special things about my job is when I get to take newborn portraits for my family.
Baby Hollie is my first cousin once removed (that means she’s my cousin's baby for those of you looking confused right now!)Read More
When 2 month old Ben first came in for his photo shoot he was not having a good day.
Rather than keep pushing him on a day he obviously wasn’t up for it, I got a few photos and then called it a day. I’d rather babies come back when they’re feeling 100% rather than move them around lots on days when they aren’t feeling well.Read More
Nobody takes cute baby photos like an 6 month old!
And there is no better proof of that than little Ralph.
Ralph came in for his Baby Photo Shoot when he was 6 months old. His family had been bought a gift voucher and they decided to put it towards some lovely cute baby photos of him along with a few family photos.Read More
Earlier this year I entered my very first Photography Competition - The Shoot & Share Photo Contest.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of photos are submitted by photographers from around the world ranging from cute baby photos, stunning wedding photos and gorgeous landscapes, all in a bid to see just how far they can get in the Shoot & Share Photo Contest.Read More
Oh Darcie, how did you get so big, so fast??
I still remember getting the email from your mum letting me know that they were expecting another baby and being over the moon! And now here you are, a smiley, toe grabbing little monkey!Read More
Certain photo shoots are always going to be more special than others and that includes when I get to photography my family.
Carl is my ‘little’ cousin and Laura is his beautiful Fiance and it was my absolute pleasure to capture these photos for them.
In a world full of Digital Images, it is important to remember that the best place for your photos is out on display, not shut away and forgotten on a hard drive.
I work with a professional laboratory to offer a range of products from simple prints, to albums, frames, canvases and more to help you display your photos in the best way possible.Read More

I love writing my New Years Resolutions.
I completely understand that they aren’t for everyone, but I love setting myself little goals that I can work towards throughout the year. They’re nothing too difficult (apart from maybe the one where I want to stop my dog barking so much…) and are all things that I want to improve for myself, rather than being things that other people have made me feel like I should do.Read More
I know it’s such a cliche thing to say, but it is simply insane that it has been a year since I wrote my 2018 New Years Resolutions.
So how did I do? Well….great in some, ok in a few and not so good in others.Read More
I cannot believe I made it a whole year. Seriously. I went into this project full of doubt, thinking that maybe i’ll just last a few months and give up. But here I am. 12 months worth of photos from the last year.Read More
2018 has been a great year here at Becki Williams Photography with so many newborns coming through my doors for their first photo shoot.
I offered new types of mini shoots, digital backgrounds, new ways to purchase your images and some BIG competitions.
So what are my plans for 2019?Read More
Every Christmas, along with all the fancy, pretty decorations, my mum still gets out decorations from when we were a baby and when we were at school.
Now some of these decorations are barely holding it together anymore (not surprising considering they’re at least 25 years old!) but the sentiment behind them means they get pride of place each year.
Hemel Hempstead Maternity, Newborn & Baby Photographer.
My name is Becki and I am chief photographer, editor, newborn poser, dribble wiper, song singer and toddler chaser of Becki Williams Photography! I strongly believe that if a photographer does not leave your shoot with sore limbs or muddy knees (or a muddy bum, it's happened!) then they're not doing it right! I love getting to know families as they grow and capturing moments in time for them to treasure forever.
