Sometimes children go to different schools so can’t get a school photo together. Other times you excitedly receive the proofs from photo day to discover that they’re pulling your least favourite false smile, the hair you spent ages doing that morning resembles some kind of birds nest or they’ve managed to spill lunch down their front.
