Happy New Year everyone!

(Has anyone actually ever made a decision on when we’re meant to stop saying that?!)

I hope you’re all rested after Christmas (haha!) and are ready to get 2023 started. Don’t worry, I’ve made the decision that it’s going to be a great year.

This will be the first full year since reopening my new home studio in Emerson Valley, Milton Keynes and I’m excited to share all my plans with you. New studio + new location = lots of fun new plans!

Here’s a summary of what you’ve got to look forward to:

March - Mummy & Me Mother’s Day Photo Shoots

This March I’ll be offering Mummy & Me shoots to all the amazing mums in and around Milton Keynes (yes, I’m talking about you!) These will be gorgeous, simple images showing off the beautiful relationship between you and your little one. Think cuddles, kisses and lots of giggles.

May - Bubbles & Balloons Photo Shoots

Over the last few years I have noticed just how much babies and toddlers light up when they’re around bubbles and balloons and they make such lovely photos! So in May keep an eye out for these fun shoots, which will be suitable from sitters and older.

June - Four Paws Mini Photo Shoots

I’ve been thinking about this for a while and it’s finally happening! If you’re unaware - I love dogs. A lot. A lot A lot. (Extra points if you recognise the Parent Trap quote) SO this year I’m going to be offering a few days of outdoor dog mini shoots. These will probably be in either Tattenhoe Valley Park or Howe Park Woods. All dogs of every shape, size and breed are welcome. We can even arrange super early mornings for reactive dogs to make sure they have the space they need. I can’t wait!

August - Back To School Mini Shoot

You know those rushed school photos where your child is pulling a funny face, their hair is sticking up and their uniform is wonky? Well we can do MUCH better than that!
I’ll be inviting children into the studio in late August just before heading back to school for some gorgeous back to school images. You’ll get photos of each individual child, sibling photos and the option of using this back to school chalk overlay. It’s so nice to look back at how the answers change over the years.

October - Autumn Mini Shoots

I spent 2022 scouting out the prettiest autumnal locations close to me in Tattenhoe Valley Park and Howe Woods and I cannot wait to start Outdoor Family Autumnal Photo Shoots. To shoot on Parks Trust land you need a permit, which I am currently applying for (yay, paperwork and risk assessments!) but it’s totally worth it. I am hoping to do these in October half term week.

November - Christmas Mini Shoots

It seems crazy that I just wrote the word Christmas as I have only just put the decorations away but here we go! Christmas Mini shoots will be in early November - probably the week of the 6th but I will confirm closer to the time. I’m thinking I might try an outdoor backdrop this year (inside my studio but an outdoor theme if you get what I mean!) It’ll be as fun and festive as usual and I can’t wait to see all of my regulars.

Lifestyle Newborn & Baby Photo Shoots

This year also sees the return of Lifestyle Newborn & Baby Photoshoots. This is when I come to your home and take natural photos around your house. You’ll have cuddles in the living room, sit and read a book on your bed. I’ll get photos of your little one in their cot and in the home they will grow up in.
For now, these are only available to people in Milton Keynes.
