Top Baby Shows & Nearly New Sales 2020

Looking for the Top Baby Shows in and around Hertfordshire?  You're in the right place!

Trade shows and exhibitions are a right of passage to all the major events of your life.  Getting Married? Trade show!  Building a house?  Trade show! Having a baby?  Trade show!  I just googled and yes, there is in fact such a thing as a Funeral trade show.

I have spent many hours putting together the list below and actually found less baby & pregnancy trade shows than I thought I would.  If there are more out there that I didn't find, they really need to up their advertising game!

I've tried to keep it within an hour of travel for the big shows and stayed more local for the smaller ones but if you're willing to travel a bit further you'll find a few more out Surry and Essex way.

The Baby show

28th Feb - 1st March - The Baby Show ExCel London

Let's face it - if you're after the FULL Baby Show experience, The Baby Show is the one to head to.

  • Superb shopping with a huge array of essential baby products from trusted brands as well as the latest innovations

  • Fantastic savings and offers

  • Expert advice from leading baby experts including The UK's #1 parenting vlogger Louise Pentland, Nutrition consultant Charlotte Stirling-Reed and Lucy Shrimpton (The Sleep Nanny®).

  • There’s a Baby Feeding Cafe with a breastfeeding area with free breastpads plus Little Freddie will be supplying free baby food to try.

  • Lidl’s Lupilu changing area offers you free nappies and wipes

  • *NEW* Baby & Toddler Play Area

  • *NEW* The Weaning Kitchen - Free 30 minute workshops from people such as co-author of Wean in 15, Charlotte Stirling-Reed, the UK’s No.1 cookery author, Annabel Karmel MBE

  • *NEW* Sleep Clinic - One-to-one expert advice from the nation’s best sleep experts including Andrea Grace, Rachel Fitz-Desorgher and Heidi Skudder, The Parent & Baby Coach and Rosey Davidson.

These big shows are generally the best for freebies and discounts so try and take someone with strong arms.
The downside - the crowds.  Try and get there early before everyone else nabs all of the best freebies and while there is still room to breathe.  Oh and take food because no one wants to pay those prices!

Tickets:
£17.50 in advance / £22.50 on the door (more expensive than last year once again!)

Under 14s go free
Some times people like MadeForMums have discounts so it's worth doing your research!

If you don't fancy heading into London, These are an easy drive away.

It's obviously not half as big as the London shows but let's face it, it's a lot cheaper and probably a lot less stressful!

On a side note, their Facebook Page is great for funny baby videos and pictures!

Tickets:
£3.50 or £4 depending on the location - bookable via their website.  Children go free.

Other shows worth mentioning:

  • Herts (St Albans) Pregnancy Baby & Toddler Show - There was a show in March in 2019 but no sign so far this year.

Nearly New Sales in and around Herts, Beds & Bucks

I was hoping the amount of nearly new sales may have grown this year after a slump in 2019. Thankfully there seem to be more Lots For Tots and NCT sales but Baby & Children’s Market and Mum2Mum market currently offer nothing nearby.

It’s definitely worth following them over on Facebook or checking out their website every now and then to see if they have added any more.

None currently planned locally! Take a look at their website if you’re happy to travel to Ware or Edgware.
