Newborn Boy Portraits | Jack's Christmas Photo Shoot
/On the run up to Christmas I decided to challenge myself by venturing into the world of Newborn Portraits on Digital Backgrounds.
This is where I photograph a newborn baby on a simple backdrop and them edit them into a Christmas scene.
As you can imagine, some of these can be very tricky and can take a lot of time because you need to make sure the lighting, shadows and colours all match and then carefully replace the old background with the new one.
I put out a Model Call on Facebook and Instagram and Jack’s mum got in touch asking to be considered for Christmas Newborn Boy Portraits.
I booked him in nice and quick and started to prepare everything I needed for the photo shoot.
When Jack came in for his shoot, he was the most perfect sleepy newborn - seriously, I couldn’t have asked for better! I got through all the poses and outfit changes I needed in record time without a peep from him.
I’m so happy that I gave myself this challenge this Christmas. I am completely in love with the results and it’s opened up a whole new world of Digital Backdrops to me and my future clients.
