Model Calls are free photos shoots, which I offer to people for a whole range of reasons. Sometimes I have new props I want to try or new set ups, and other times I want to work to improve a certain pose.Read More
When Adhiya’s family booked her Newborn Photo Shoot they said that they would like awake photos that captured her personality.
Of course once they said that I was expecting the worlds sleepiest baby to turn up that I couldn’t keep awake, but she was in fact the perfect awake model that her mum and dad had been hoping for.Read More
I love writing my New Years Resolutions.
I completely understand that they aren’t for everyone, but I love setting myself little goals that I can work towards throughout the year. They’re nothing too difficult (apart from maybe the one where I want to stop my dog barking so much…) and are all things that I want to improve for myself, rather than being things that other people have made me feel like I should do.Read More
I know it’s such a cliche thing to say, but it is simply insane that it has been a year since I wrote my 2018 New Years Resolutions.
So how did I do? Well….great in some, ok in a few and not so good in others.Read More
When people ask me what age is my favourite to photograph, I find it impossible to choose.
Newborns are tiny and new and special, 2/3 month olds are starting to smile and react to your silly noises, 6/8 month olds are chubby and smiley and one year olds are pure hilarious mischief.Read More
The year is complete and so is the 2018 Photo Project!
I cannot believe I made it a whole year. Seriously. I went into this project full of doubt, thinking that maybe i’ll just last a few months and give up. But here I am. 12 months worth of photos from the last year.Read More

As always, it’s just crazy that a whole year has past and another group of newborns have come through my door for their Newborn Photo Shoot.
Looking back through the images, some seem like forever ago and some like yesterday. It’s crazy to think that some of these babies will be turning 1 in a few weeks.Read More
Every Christmas, along with all the fancy, pretty decorations, my mum still gets out decorations from when we were a baby and when we were at school.
Now some of these decorations are barely holding it together anymore (not surprising considering they’re at least 25 years old!) but the sentiment behind them means they get pride of place each year.
If you missed out on a Christmas Mini Photo Shoot this year or if you just fancy taking photos yourself, here’s a beginners guide to taking amazing Christmas photos of your baby, simply using your mobile phone.Read More
I haven’t started looking through this months photos yet and I’m a little nervous that there may not really be any.
November is always such a busy month here and being busy with shoots means I don’t really find the the time to take photos for myself.

Today, Becki Williams Photography turns 4!

I first met Kitty’s family back in 2015 when I did a Newborn Photo Shoot for her big sister Grace in St. Albans.
I’m getting so many siblings come through my door right now and I am always so excited to receive their emails letting me know they’re expecting baby number two or three.
When Kitty’s mum got in touch she was already a few days old so I booked her in nice and quick so we didn’t miss those first sleepy 5 - 10 days.Read More

Now, I’m not going to lie - I’m actually writing this quite a way into October.
To be honest I’m quite impressed that I’ve made it all the way to October before a Photo Project blog was late.
But, wait - why does the blog date say early October? Well that my friend is blog, computer magic (or cheating…you know…one of the two!)
Now excuse me while I go back and remember what I actually did in September!
Ah yes, Rome!Read More
A few weeks ago I was contacted by Carys’s mum and dad and asked to do a lifestyle newborn shoot at their house in St. Albans.
Lifestyle photo shoots are a lovely, natural and unposed alternative to studio newborn photography where the emphasis is on taking relaxed photos of the entire family in your own home.
The photos show a perfect little snapshot of this time in your life.
