Caoimhé's Newborn Photo Shoot | Luton

Caoimhé came for her newborn shoot when she was around 2 months old.

She’s the perfect example that it is never too late for newborn photos.

Although I generally aim to get newborns in the studio when they are a couple of weeks old, it just doesn’t always work out that way.
After Caoimhé was born she spent some time in hospital and so she was 8 weeks old when her mum contacted me asking me if it was still possible to come for a shoot - to which my reply was ‘of course!’

My shoots with ‘older newborns’ run just like a regular newborn photo shoot. We start with family photos if you’d like them and then your little one becomes the star.
The only thing different at this age is that if they’re awake, I take unposed images instead of the sleepy curled up style. Some 2 months drift off into a deep sleep and others, like Caoimhé, spend a couple of hours staring down the camera lens.

I adore Caoimhé's photos.

It’s crazy how at such a young age you can already see little bits of personality shining through. There’s little funny face’s, intense stares and even a smile or two!

She was a pleasure to photograph and I’ve even seen her again since, when she came in for a Christmas mini shoot.

So if you’re worried you’ve missed that ‘newborn’ window that everyone talks about, please don’t! It’s never too late to capture those special moments during their first year of life.

Get in touch and let’s start planning your little one’s photo shoot!
